Absolutely stunning! With boots like this available, I think I'll get over not being able to acquire rare shell from Alden. Quite easily...
Yes sir, that’s exactly my point. They’re a touch more expensive (by about $50-100), but these feel a little more refined in finish than the Alden tanker I have. The sleeker last is definitely dressier than the my Barrie tanker. My only problem is I now want more!

They do look sleeker than Barrie tankers.

Gents,
Anyone used sno seal?

Thoughts.

Thank you,
I have used Sno-Seal. I agree with @audog , it does a great job of waterproofing.
But I prefer Obenauf’s LP. My understanding, and experience, has been that Sno-Seal is petroleum based. Obehauf’s LP is based on beeswax. It has a more pleasant odor. Both work great for waterproofing leather, especially rough out leather, which is what I generally use it on. As mentioned, heating the leather gently with a hairdryer helps improve penetration of the product.
Be aware that it will flatten the nap and darken the leather.
Reproduction WW2 US rough out service boots, before and after Obenauf’s LP:
