Of the two, "today's choice", just grabs at me. Not that there is anything wrong with the other, just the first boot is my style. Good choice for the day.

Totally understandable. I like my boots, all the way from Red Wings to GG/EG and everything in between. I always wanted a Valway and this boot helps fill that desire. Unlike EG Galway or CJ Harlech/Lindrick/Skye, I would likely not own multiple versions of Valways though....
