Boots great, combination boots and trousers: fail (at least for my taste)

The boots do look great. I don't own any Navy simply for the trouser pairing conundrum. I saw one of the other guys on the C&J thread pairing these with a PoW Check and they looked great, but I am not sure the rest of my wardrobe could carry Navy boots off as well!

Of course it strongly depends on your wardrobe. Grey trousers are fine, beige can work depending on texture and pattern. And ecru, off-white can work. And navy shell is more difficult than navy suede.

And, even my above failed experiment is way better than what 95% of men wear everyday - at least in Germany.

Just thinking out loud here but I wonder about jeans with the navy boots. Lots of shades to choose from. Double down on the blue? Black and blue? Of course in reality this could all go horribly awry. Hmmmmm.....

I do not own any denims. But others might comment on this.

C&J Camberley in tobacco suede. Might not be everybody's cup of tea but I like my double buckle boots:
