Looks lovely. How is the Olivia leather different from Kudu leather? To my untrained eye, they look pretty similar.

Also, nice laces! Mind sharing where you picked these up from? Looking for a good source for reasonably priced sturdy laces which ship worldwide.

Thanks. I have only one pair of kudu from Meermin so my comparisons may not be spot on. I think Olivia due to its way of tanning makes the leather a lot softer than my kudu pair.
The orange laces actually came with the boots. It's one of the reasons I bought them, apart from the really handsome discount at the time. I think I paid less than the equivalent of 270 pounds, or USd370, for them last year.

Those are deerskin btw which is why they’re super soft and to the poster above Kudu is essentially a large deer so aesthetically they are similar but deerskin far finer. Olivvia tends to be a method of tanning calf leathers with waste products from the Olive industry.
