I think they look a little unusual but I really like them.

In design terms, they look like classic walking / hiking boots to me, the kind I grew up with (I was mountain walking from the age of 7). But the leather adds some real class and difference. I like them a lot.

You're right about the design. This is the first pair of hiking boots for me. The leather does lift it up.
