Very new to this but just received my first pair (ever) of proper well-made leather boots, many more to come I hope. After spending years wearing boots for work (safety toecap ones, company issue) I have finally realised that I do prefer wearing boots to shoes, and also that the money spent on quality is never wasted.
So here we have Loake 1880 "Bedale" in Dark Brown Grain. Very comfortable out of the box.

Welcome to the Boot world, but sorry for your wallet...
Once started with Loake 1880 too.
Ended up with Tricker's and R. M. Williams meanwhile...
Hope (for my wallet) that'll be it ;)
