My wife bought me these GYW Brunelo Cuccineli boots seven years ago. They’re my “cheapest” boots/shoes. Ironically, they’ve held up beautifully and they feel like slippers.

Hey Guys. Just got these Santoni boots that I've been eyeing for a while. They fit great, look great, but my only question/concern is about the tall soles.

I'm tall as it is. I'm used to boots giving a bit more lift than shoes but I'd say these are almost a half inch higher than even my other boots (CJs, AE). But these are more rugged so maybe that's part of the style.

What do you guys think? Would you keep and wear especially for more casual needs, or is it a deal breaker? Figure I'd see what others think and then make my decision. I'm sure the sole will wear thinner after some time, but man are they thick!!

Decided to return. Just couldn't get around to the stilt like soles. At 6'4" with these giving like 2"+ of extra height was too much. Damn, got a great deal after eyeing them for awhile.

Dude, I love those boots. Where did you find them, been trying to find a pair in my size. How did you size them, in comparison to your normal size?
