Curious as to where you sourced these, not the lases but the boots :), I noticed them from your Tricker's post and thought they'd be an nice alternative to the Grassmere I originally had in mind.
In the end I could not find an all black Tricker's rounded cap toe that was readily available and I ordered the Cheaney Trafalgars I mentioned previously.

They’re a makeup for END clothing, here’s the link, although they’re a bit limited on sizes now. I really like them!

Thank you both. Given difficulty level, I'm a little skeptical about Meermin's ability to pull off pie-crust apron stitch with cordovan. I think it's worth a shot though, worst case I'll end up with a boot unlike my other shell boots in a color I've admired for a long time.

I would tend to agree with your skepticism. I’ve only ordered one pair of shell Meermin, my first purchase from the brand, but it was a shitshow. Was hesitant to buy a Chinese made boot, especially knowing about the QC issues, but figured I would give them a chance. should have listened to myself; the boots were a mess and never should have left China or Spain. misalignment with the shafts, one are of the shaft that wasn’t even sewn onto the lower with a gap over an inch, and poor welting with what looked like two holes in the shell due to needle punctures. Boxed up and went back right away; customer service failed to respond, but I made them take them back and insisted on a full refund with shipping. Won’t be going near Meermin again, but will admit that I’ve seen some nice makeups on the forum and glad people haven’t had the issue that I did

.... They do have an interesting selection though....Tricker's Henry in Oily Black Olivvia has been catching my eye of late. ;)

Gents,
Caramel Eaton mto is a go. Will be getting ordered end of this week from the factory. I’m heading for a tune up so last time I’ll mention and thanks to those that have placed orders. Will be getting ordered regardless of numbers so will happen.
