that‘s what I thought. Nice looking boots, but I’m not waiting 8 months on aside from a bespoke pair made by Swiss elves out of unobtanium and wooly mammoth hide.

They were a collaboration with Richard James, I’ve a waxy leather one too on Ridgeway sole which is awesome. Long sold out alas...I had a brown one ordered too and they lost it!

A nice chuka boot bought from Shipton & Heneage some years ago.

Sole: Lite Vibram / 360 welt

Note: My first chukka in GYW construction. This is beautiful boot made by C&J. I believe is a version of the Chiltern. I liked it so much that I bought a second pair "for stock". It has in interesting lining that goes until the begining of the shaft, maybe to make them cooler. The Lite Vibram sole is fantastic and is a tad thiker than Dainite or the one used in the Chiltern..

They where extreamly dirty as you can see:
