Crosspost from the Cheaney thread.

Brand: Cheaney
Model: Hampton
Supplier: Herrings
Last: 1978
Sole: Golf rubber / 360 welt

Note: A nice "dealer boot" (I believe that is named that way due to the taller shaft), was a tad hard to break it down, it has a "Veldtschoen" construction. Has an interesting square toe shape. This boots look great after a day in the country (mud and dust give character to them).

What the thoughts on using boot bags for closet storage? do they serve much of a purpose other than keeping household dust off the boots?

X-post from EG thread. Exciting grocery store (pickup) run for me as I get to wear a pair of Galways. I started working from home in mid-march and have worn decent footwear four times in total since then. We use delivery services for pretty much everything, so haven't had a chance to wear much other than sneakers and sandals.

beautiful boots, the coloration is superb!

ha! I was thinking about that two weeks into the lockdown. I decided that I’d wear my nice shoes and boots downstairs in my home office during the day anyway, even though we get all deliveries too and I don‘t really go anywhere. its helped me to feel more ‘me’ and normal somewhat to keep this up, if that makes any sense
