Got one of the pet one! Full daily!
I have one of the corded pet ones, and one of the newest cordless ones, the corded one will cause the lights to dim when switched on. My late mother, who lived with us for a few years, was on full time oxygen with a big O2 generator thing. I had to make sure the Dyson wasn't plugged into the same circuit or the breaker would trip. But it does get the dog hair up rather well. FWIW, the V11 (model nomenclature in USA) cordless does as well at getting up dog hair although the battery lasts only about 15 minutes on the maximum suction setting, on the lowest setting it will run almost 45 minutes.

At first I was wondering what Hoover Appreciation might be (and was afraid to Google it :) ). I have not had great luck with Hoover brand products here in USA. Bissell yes, Hoover no. Have been thinking about a Miele canister vacuum for upstairs portion of the house, as I don't like lugging the Dyson up/down the stairs and I always seem to forget the upstairs when using cordless, when I remember battery is drained.
OF course, all of this exchange has NOTHING to do with boots, but is enjoyable, none the less.

Brushed a few of my shell boots this morning. My wife likes to meditate to relax her mind, I tell her this is a form of mediation for me.

Carmina Amaretto tankers, Alden Cigar WTB, C&J Whiskey Lindrick, C&J Brown Harlech, C&J Whiskey Harlech.

I agree. Brushing, conditioning, polishing.... very zen like activity as far as I am concerned.
The residents of your boot stable are looking mighty fine.

So for my next mid-summer conditioning and storing of boots i have the Sagara Hand-Welted from Indonesia.

These have been treated multiple times using Saphir's Renovateur, Médaille d'Or Pommadier Cream and Médaille d'Or Pommadier Wax. So this time i decided to give it a good cleaning using the Chamberlain's leather milk cleaner. I used multiple applications of it and got as much of the polish and wax off as i could using a good cotton shammy. Took me almost 30 mins per boot, but i finally got everything off to an acceptable level. Enough to expose the pores of the leather. Enough that i was satisfied that the conditioner would penetrate the leather well.

As i said earlier, I had only used Saphir products on these boots earlier, so i decided to mix it up a little again. After allowing them to dry for about 30 mins (i live in a area with temperature of 40 degree C / 105 F with 15-20% humidity) so it does not take long for things to dry. I used a layer of Venetian Shoe Balm as conditioner. Allowed it to rest for about and 45 mins and then gave it a good brushing using a large horse hair brush. Next i decided to use the Saphir Médaille d'Or Pommadier Cream No 8 Burgundy to add some pigment that had been taken off because of the through cleaning. I only decided to do one coat as these will go straight to storage for the winter. After letting them rest for 30 mins, i gave them a good brushing and the results are as follow:
