(Of course, no one does this type of pose as well as @nishant, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway...)

How are they?
They're very well-made: high-quality leather and suede, fully leather-lined, excellent workmanship throughout. And they're very comfortable out of the box, too.

Polish day for my country boots .
Grasmere , dark tan that I let soak until the next wear . Bama dubbin on quarters to soften them , even after three years they are still rigid .
Cheltenham , light coat of dark tan and quick brush , cloth rub and good to go . Excuse the pic of the old trunk I bought a couple of months ago . It was owned by an RAMC Lt col from Belfast . He served from , 1916 until 1950 , it’s a belter of an antique and great for all sorts of things .

Thanks . I use the trunk it as a bed side table , storage of some old knives and bayonets and memorabilia and for boot polishing ..

Since I packed work in last year I have bought a few items of furniture for myself myself .. Victorian / Edwardian era washstand , bureau , chest of drawers , chairs from local charity outlets and cleaned / restored them and use them . Something I would never have previously thought of doing . The trunk was a purchase from a friend who owns an antique shop in a nearby town , paid more as it was in his shop but worth every penny at £75 . Its condition is same as when I purchased it , very pleased with it .
