The bonafes and vass would at least be handwelted, heh. My wardrobe is too casual for me to need much in the way of calfskin so I’m not sure how EG’s calfskin compares to bonafe and vass. In terms of construction and detailing I wouldn’t say EGs are significantly better based on the pairs I’ve handled at least, especially given the substantial price premium
