The bentivegna had me curious so I had to look it up and I'm even more confused. I'll just put in the category of something like norvegese but Italian-based. I guess I'll browse and play it by ear. Thanks for the input.

Had a similar experience with C&J NY.

Doh, I had assumed they were Norwegian based. But don't let d*3 hear me, it'll just confirm to him that I'm not a real card carrying boot guy.

How fucking good are boots though. I spend a lot of my time at a University(CompSci study and Soft Dev teaching) or working in IT.

Boots. Jeans, and OCBD's all day every day!

Nah, Jeans, OCBD's(Usually sky blue) and boots. I'll throw on either my TOJ Varisty, or Barbour Bedale SL over the top. Often with a thin grey merino knit or heavier Donegal blue(with white) or grey knit.
The only way I can really see improving this is going bespoke which I plan to do but I'm going to the gym pretty regularly, so I'll hold off for a year or so until my body becomes 'stable'.

I'd really like to grab a bespoke Balmaccan(or some sort of warmer coat), an Aero Board Racer in dark whiskey calf, as well as replace shirts with bespoke ones, but I'll wait a while before doing that.

No, unfortunately not. Based on the Last tracking I very much doubt that I will receive them before Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

    cross post:

Anyone here own cordovan shoes or boots from suit supply? I ordered their wingtip boots and they fit me well. The quality seems ok. Buy I'm really not sure if they are worth 650. For that I can spend a little more and get an alden or spend a few hundred more and get a C & J. Please let me know your thoughts. Here are some phone pics:
