^ Keep the money, you will need it for the Amalfi Coast. Breathing the air there costs money. That said, Ravello is one of the most beautiful places you could ever visit. Sorry not to be too useful but I'm jealous. Enjoy.

I know very little about Italian boots (or footwear). Mostly Blake or Blake rapid, although there's Bologna and other types of construction popular, correct? I have a couple of pairs of Vibergs in Guidi leather and I've heard of Comipel. I'm blabbering on about this because I'm going to be in Italy for a couple of weeks (and visiting the sacred town of Ravello). I'm wondering if it's worth it to pick up some Italian boots. Any suggestions, preferably more towards the very casual aesthetic?
Marmolada hiking boots. The best menswear hiking boots you can buy with money. They also make hiking boots for Berluti.

Thanks, buda. Yeah, I know. It's pork and beans for all of 2016.

+1 and get a pair of norvegese or bentivegna boots to show them off in good health.

After consulting this thread I placed an order with Crockett & Jones NY for a pair of Harlech cordovan boots back in June. I was told they would be shipped around July 15th. I called to check on them the other day and was told they wouldent be avaliable until November.

That's the problem.
