Hypothetically, if we did 202 last and Walnut CC, would that change the number of participants interested??

Gents,

I am thinking of an EG GMTO using a MTO field boot pattern based on Kentmere minus the straps. See the boot MTOed via Leffot in Black London Grain.
Thinking -
Burgundy London Grain ( open to ideas .. )
72 last
Storm Welt
Ridgeway Sole

@Stefan88 ran this by the good guys at EG and the price is expected to be 1030 GBP w/o VAT. Pretty cool I think .. We would need a total of 6 participants.

Cheers
N

Yes. Walnut CC is basically like C&J’s dark brown scotch grain, huh? Since we’re still in the “figuring it out” stage, how about these options:

1) Chestnut antique calf;
2) Nutmeg or oyster suede; or
3) Dark oak antique clalf - EG’s most iconic shade of leather, I think.

Thoughts?

I have them all and again, I would like something more distinctive in a GMTO that EG doesn’t use often.

If I recall correctly, you were thinking Burgandy London Grain, 72 Last, Storm Welt, Ridgeway Sole. Unfortunately, of the 4 pairs of Edward Green I have, two are Brown London Grain, and I suggested Damson Utah. You were thinking something a bit more rugged.

Not sure if EG is still doing this (and I apologize if it is too far afield), but I know it has in the past -- Horween Zug in Heather Gorse.

Happy me, I received a very long awaited box from Ron Rider today. He made me another Loden belt, & a matching natural horse butt belt for my natural horse butt jodhpur boots.
