New boots with shark skin cap
Christian Kimber x Eidos Napoli:
No idea why but I am enamored with these at the moment.
Continuing with @bespoken pa 's theme of "enamored with boots which I don't understand why I like now"
Trickers burford - after some conditioning and DIY antiquing.
Was going to sell them (didn't like the pale tan/acorn, or the stumpy last), but starting to like these again.
Got a new pair of cordovan boots on sale, but its hot and humid here until October or so. Any people rock boots during hot and humid summers?
Quote:I wear some tall boots during summer (see previous page) but my summers are neither particualrly hot nor exceptionally humid. I did wear a pair of calf Galways as my only footwear on a recent three day trip to Atlanta and it was fine. Tall boots in full cordovan might be a bit uncomfortable on the worst days, though. Your boots, your feet, your weather - try it out and tell us what you think.
Atlanta and south is sitting @ 100F minimum lately NO boots
Quote:Yeah, but thay have AC everywhere, right? If your activities are going to keep you outside most of the day then boots are not the best bet. But then, you'll be roasting hot regardless of your footwear at those temps. It was upper '80s and humid when I was there. I was mostly inside: hotel - convention center - resturants - shopping centers, and outside for frequent but comparatively short periods moving between those places. I was just fine in my Galways.
I wear boots (cordovan included) to the office year round. I have a short walk to my car and a short walk to the office.
I don't wear them outside of work, though, for the most part.
I wear cordovan, scotch grain and horse/calf boots pretty much Monday-Sunday in a tropical country and office job. I find cordovan doesn't really trap heat so much as people say, at least for me.
Hey guys, is anybody interested in doing this exact boot as GMTO? It is on Carmina Oscar last in Brick Llama calf.
in the warmer months I like my shorts short and my boots tall
Lol you made my day
