Good info thank you for sharing.
So they should last much longer than the ColeHahn-Nike Airs I had!
I'm looking at a pair of C&Js btw...
Where's the best online shop to purchase C&J Chelseas?
I like robertolduk
Seconding Robert Old. Got my Islays from them and it was a really smooth transaction.
Strangely, I wore shell in Indonesia a couple weeks ago and never felt hot. But last week in Newark wearing a different pair, I did. Both were BB unlined loafers. Maybe the difference was that the ones in Indonesia were burgundy and the Newark ones were black. JK
Same outsoles?. Rubber outsoles for me are quite hot too.
Enzo Bonafe #3540 in Horween Cordovan Color 8. 74945 last. MTO for myself.
these came out amazing! nicely done. The blind eyelets and brass speed hooks looks great, love the little extra pop
Lovely can't wait to do few Enzo mto myself.
Those are fantastic, Patrik!
Agreed x 10 Fabulous
Yep, both leather outsoles. It might be that the shells used for each pair were of different thicknesses, which is common. Or maybe the difference was due to me, my metabolism or something.
Thx fellas. I'm really happy with how they came out. Given the increase in price in Carmina Shell and the 15% MTO surcharge instead of 50% for Carmina it's my opinion that Bonafè is the most logical route for Shell MTO. Although I love Carmina, the craftsmanship you get from Bonafè is in a different league.
@tifosi and I were just having this exact conversation. Between your and Justin's boots you are talking about super high quality construction, hand welted, shell and completely personalized makeup for about the same price as a stock Alden shell boot. Pretty damn good value proposition is you ask me...
