Carlos Santos, don’t you hate it when after you’ve left the house, your boots start to irritate the heck out of your shin  , glad I keep a box of bandaids in my desk. Other than that, they’re not bad View attachment 1205267
I find they fit ‘oddly’. Can’t really put my finger on it, they rub in strange places. Handsome boots but a compromise.

I have the same shin rub issues with my Alden high boots. It’s even more annoying when spending Alden money on boots. No other boots give me this problem, and considering I wear boots 90% of the time, it is definitely isolated to this pair and my Aldens. Oh well, first world problems eh?

My Mahogany Indys rubbed at the top of the boot on the outside of my legs, and I'd just "train" the top outwards a bit before and after for a few wears and it along with break-in seemed to solve things. Similar with the tongue of my Grant Stone shell PTB's, which is where I first tried the trick, and it worked out great.

Thanks for that tip, I’ll give it a try.

I've had zero fit issues with my two pairs of CS tall boots.
The blister on my shin makes me envy you.

Just picked these up from Rider boot in Richmond tonight. They are made from Horse front leather and I love the texture of them. I’m also becoming a big fan of the Rider 60 last with the orthopedic insole. Like them so much, ordered another pair in natural. $330 bucks, sheeesh, dirt cheap!

That is a pretty cool looking boot. Is the strap/buckle adjustable for fit?

I've been in a boot binge lately! So addicted.

Grenson chukkas, C&J Chelsea that needs a polish, and Alden Indy!

TGIF!... Something grungy for today: Doc Martens!
