Love the website absolutely abhor the B&S listing process. I'll be listing my color 8 shell 8.5E Aberdeen lasted shortwings on the Bay shortly. Swapped double-leather for single and converted antique to brown. Offering them here for $399, which includes domestic shipping. DM me if interested. Respectfully not accepting offers as this is a rock-bottom price. Here's a teaser..... 20190209_140704.jpg

They are a pain to get into and have been getting quite some hurt of late on forums but I do love the couple of Truman boots I got. This one in aubergine..

Why are they a pain to get into, could it be the lacing?

It probably is the lacing and partly my fault but the shaft is a touch narrower than Viberg and has been a minor issue ever since I got these regardless how I lace them.

Just was wondering, I have heard good things about Truman, don't have a pair myself as I'm pretty heavily into Grant Stone and Alden, but they look good in your photo.

My favorite pair of boots when there is snow on the ground... Tricker’s Stow. Virtually indestructible.. Water resistant, excellent traction and reasonably good looking.

They are a good 300-400 dollar boot. I bought mine on year end sale and they have worked well so far. Just like Alden, Truman is overpriced by about 200 usd at msrp. IMO, of course. ;)
