I just got a pair from whites not too long ago in 13D.MP service boots..I haven't owned any RW's or Bergs but my other boots that you may be familiar with are Thorogood 6" Moc toe's, AE Daltons, both 13D and carmina balmorals 12(EU) on robert last. Daltons are definitely more snug on me, but my sock game is shit. I can comfortably wear athletic crew socks or dress socks with any of them. mostly comes down to lacing and activities.

FWIW if you think these boots will be around for another week or two I'd send foot tracings into BakerShoe.com w. the model/build specs. They'll give you a call in a weeks time with a size suggestion, and inevitably try to sell you a pair but thats up to you. From the reviews I've read on the streetwear side and more so reddit/GYW, the dude that does the fitting rarely fucks up.

Baker ended up being $50 cheaper than Whites site and offered more customization (very odd) and the fit is very good.

What style(s) are you looking at?

Do you guys ever feel something akin to guilt/gluttony/OCD when you get a new pair of boots and within a few days (or sometimes before delivery) are scouting your next kill?

I keep telling myself EG Galways are gonna be next but these are at the forefront (and half the price) for me right now. Idk what it is but they're just badass boots.

Speaking of Galways. On the EG site they have a few makeups anywhere between $1500-$1800..none of which I liked for the price, personally...What impact would going to a Trunk show have Vs. sending in a custom order online? I presume they take measurements/try different lasts/pull out material swatches on site to customize?

Carlos Santos field boots in Algarve grain patina from afinepairofshoes. Very comfortable Galway clone for an unrivalled price (especially when using the styleforum discount code).

Thank you! I'm not sure of the model, but it's a pair of service boots.

Often when you order a pair when you attend a trunk show the MTO fee will be waved.
