I think we’ve all fantasised about pascal networking for client acquisitions in his camel hair coat.
The conferences are mostly in Frankfurt and London. The coat was actually cheaper than a RTW coat, and an special offer from Dolzer, an MTO tailer that has now been acquired by "Der Masskonfektionär".

I did not wear the very warm and nice coat in spring and summer after the conferences in London.

Best regards

Pascal

All in good humour Pascal. Perhaps it’s better if we all just stick to boots on this thread - the clue’s in the name 👍

Hello Pascal

I like when I catch nice women glimpsing my shoes. I believe that presenting myself aptly dressed is good for me and for my work.

Cheers

I got these boots at the beginning of July and have been breaking them in slowly at home. This weekend, the temperature dropped to 96°F and I decided to try wearing them outside. I have to say I'm very impressed. I spent about 4 hours outdoors, walked about 3 miles, spent about 2 hours in the car, and didn't feel the slightest bit uncomfortable the entire time. These boots are truly summer-ready.

Is it true to size or you had to go up?
I went into a carmina store in Europe this summer and tried on a few different boots on different lasts. They were ALL too tight in my usual size. I didn't have time to try on larger sizes unfortunately and had to leave in a rush. . so ive been left with the impression that carmina seem to do very tight fitting lasts which may not suit wide feet or feet with a high in-step

I own a few pairs of Carmina and can report about my experience. I usually wear UK 10 size: for the Simpson last I need 10, for the Forest last I size down to 9 1/2. I also owned a pair on the Detroit last and seem to remember that had to size down as well. However I have rather shallow feet with a low instep, so probably my experience isn't very helpful.

As they have many different lasts, my advice would be to try them through: I think that chances are good to find the right one for you.

True size.
Thankfully, I have a pretty standard foot. Not too narrow, not too wide, and a standard instep. Oscar last fit me almost perfectly (there's a very slight heel slip and a tiny bit of height in the instep, but overall a very good fit for RTW shoes).
