Got me some classic Red Wings to use as a hybrid city and country summer shoe instead of the usual Tricker’s chukka. Went TTS and they fit very well but that collar is going to take some work to soften.

I’ve realised after nearly 25 pairs of heavy footwear that softer Christy and wedge soles are what I prefer. The kudu chukka is now so damn comfy underfoot but the ankle opening being what it is I always get little stones and debris inside when out in nature hence the move to a higher shaft boot.

Thanks!! Back in early May Truman had Concord Horse Rump rough-out MTO for about 2 hours before it sold out (i think it was less than 5 pairs available but not 100% sure). I was lucky enough to get in and this is the result. Just arrived a short time ago. Here'a a quick shot in the sun with my jeans in a ridiculous position:
