Beautiful! What are those trousers? I've been looking for similar ones for a long time.
Thanks, they are Brooks Brothers, picked up at Sak’s.

Well, they are wool trousers, right? How is that pattern called?
Yes, thought that part was obvious from the image. They are wool, and if you’re not familiar with it, it’s a herringbone pattern.

Have and love this pair. Just wish they had speed hooks.
I know right, boots without speed hooks are the devil man. I’ll eventually get them over to Bedo to get some installed.

Indeed. I think up to 7 eyelets without is alright, but more than that is slow agonising death. It’s part of the reason I won’t touch any of DR’s C&J offerings. The amount of minutes lost lacing up each day is just not worth it.
With that said, as they break in the lacing up does get better, and yet…

Where did you source the laces for your Pennine’s?

Ooof trying to think. I vaguely remember picking up some round 3 mm laces from A Fine Pair of Shoes, maybe. Lately, I’ve tried some para cord ones from Generation laces and those are quite nice as well. This shape is far quicker to lace up, I find.

Cool thanks. I’ve gotten some of the para laces, they’re a little too slippery for my tastes. I’ll give AFPS a look.
