Gents for Jodhpur I am leaning towards Zonkey boots. Any other brand that is similar in terms of style, quality? I do like the design but the sailor last is not my favorite.

Great boots, great memories:

Six years ago I saw these Cheaney Mallory boots in Cheaney's site but at that time they didn't deliver to Peru, they where on sale at a great price and where the last pair available. I mailed Herrings Shoes and ask if they could purchase these boots for me and deliver to Peru and that I will happily pay the profit they consider for the service.

I recieved a mail confirming that they could purchase and deliver them at the same price and there was no need to add profit on top. A couple of days later Herrings informed that the boots have arrived to their premises and that the left boot had a slight difference on the burnishing applied to the toe and if I would accept them. I accept the boots and here they are with new laces from Grant Stone.

Molde: Mallory
Color: Maracca suede
Welt: 270
Construction: Veldtschoen
Sole: Dainite

The burnishing applied to the toe of your Mallory seems to be similar to my Eden Boots, as they share the same Maracca suede. I was cleaning my boots with a damp rag when I realized that it was stained with some kind of "dark powder" that came from the burnished area, that went off very easily after a strong brushing even though not completely. It was a nice surprise as I prefer a more subtle burnishing.

Hello @Mercurio, I was wondering how I could stain the left boot (I even consider using black tea as you get great results with coffee), now I will go the other way, brushing the right one which sounds easier.

Thank you for the tip. Have a nice sunday.
