Hello! I need to find these boots, I dont know the brand or anything else, I saw them in a London based webs shop (they sell socks) for this year, so hopefully I can buy them if I find them, I wrote the socks company but no reply.
Does anyone have any clue about them?
Thanks!

Grenson makes a similar boot.

Can anyone offer their opinion on the Truman P-79 last compared to the Grant Stone Leo last. Thank you.

These are currently my favorite boots. I’m even considering of doing an MTO boondocker with the Indonesian makers. Maybe something in hatch grain, reverse chamois or horsebutt and maybe a combination of 2 leathers.

I took a gamble on these boots overall. I was never into boondockers, let alone into plain toe boots. I’m a PCT guy and occasionally a plain cap-toe. I never liked the chunky aesthetic of a chunky commando sole. I believe these are the lite version. I definitely was interested in the Taurus rough out leather. It’s really nice and somewhere in-between reverse chamois and a rough out. I didn’t even like the 1035 last before this boot lol. Many of you are probably asking then why the fuck did you buy them? Within a week or 2, I became boot-influenced for the first time ever. When Ticho posted his boondockers from Flame Panda, I was kind of stunned. I’ll admit it. Although, I didn’t want to wait nor did I like the last much, cxl isn’t for me. I stumbled upon these and after much contemplation, I said fuck it. I quickly became infatuated with these boots before they even arrived. I knew they were going to be a great fit and was more worried about the soles being too stiff for me. Today is their 6th wear and the lite commando soles are flexing more and they’re actually becoming more comfortable than I presumed.

For what it’s worth; I wear a 9.5D in Truman’s P79 and the same in their Alexander last. I think GS advises to take the same size in their Alexander & Leo last. Hopefully this info is somewhat helpful.
