Boot sole adhesive

Hi,

I'm new here as of 9/25/2020. I'm looking for insight into adhesives for hiking boots where the soles have completely detached. These are ASOLO women's boots bought on eBay , and look relatively unused, but I believe they are old stock and suffered from some form of dry rot.
I searched a bit here (lots of posts! ) but not coming up with an answer yet.
Where do you suggest I make a detailed post?

Just use Barge all purpose cement. It's what the professionals use.
