I you are thinking of splashing out for it I would go for it. I's well worth the money.

It covers a lot of ground and is sprinkled with pictures of the dandies of the last century. To be honest, it's a bit stuck in the past, but it's a book about tradition and style and was a good addition to my collection. Just be aware that dressing, and the history of men's dress is not an exact science - many of the rules and historical explanations are contradicted in other books so take all of the advice with a grain of salt.
