What books are you ashamed to admit you like?

I thought Curtis Sittenfield's Prep was overall quite good. The end became a little contrived, but overall a good book.

Harry Potter books were good. I still like the Little Prince even though I haven't read it since high school.

No shame in liking Le Petit Prince. Classic. Frankly, same for the Harry Potters.

I'm embarrassed for my childhood obsession with Christopher Pike.

I've had less than no desire to pick up one of his books. Heard it all in his speeches and don't feel like giving him a cent because of that.

Although I loathe Dean Koontz as a novelist, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed his book Odd Thomas. And even though I don't agee with her politics, I enjoy all of Ayn Rand's work (both fiction and non-fiction).

Those Diana Gabaldon novels. And some "gay lit" books, like Call Me By Your Name.

Anything by the mystery novelist Robert B. Parker. I can't say that I'm actually ashamed that I enjoy his books, but a few times I've been a little uncomfortable ehen somebody gives me that "You've got to be kidding" look when I say that I'm a big Robert B. Parker fan.

Wow I forgot about Christopher Pike... I used to love his books also... there was one that seriously had me freaked out scared for months. I don't even remember what it was about.

I don't really have guilty-pleasure reads anymore... that is until the next Candace Bushnell book comes out.

HAHA even I don't venture into the 'chick lit' zone.

Oh, more guilty pleasures: Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty series. Erotica. Yes. Haha.

I've read all of Anne Rice's books except those ones... maybe next time I'm on vacation I should check them out.

I read the first Outlander book and didn't hate it.

I also have read every Stephen King book.
