I have an account at Librarything, got distracted and haven't been back to it. My sister bought the barcode reader, though, so I need to steal it from her and take another stab at cataloging.

I've got a lot of books, though, and not nearly enough time. If I did x-number a day, though, I'd eventually wade through it.

One of my book shelves is adjacent to my PC, which help me input a lot of books quickly. I logged around 150 books in a hour. But, it still becomes tedious after a while, the scanner will make it much easier.
I like Bookmooch, since I've joined a week or so ago I've had, The Official Preppy Handbook, Afrocentricity and Acquired Tastes sent to me. And also was able to get rid of somebooks.

Very cool- I didn't know about this sort of thing so far. I input just over 20 books last night. I'm having a hard time deciding which ones I want to part with and which I want to keep.

Problem is, once you are faced with the possibility of getting free books, you have no idea what to pick up. I did have Discourses on Livy sent to me, but other than that I'm drawing a serious blank.

EDIT: I'm looking for a good book on public oration or oral debate. I've got a couple good ones on written rhetoric but nothing to really look at on oral except Plato's Gorgias and William Safire's Lend Me Your Ears.
