I love it, but that chrome wheel needs to be toned down.

Never met an Aston I didn't like, and this is pretty hardcore. (Ok, maybe the shooting breaks, sorry ZJ)

No. Seriously, I don't like it. With Aston, less is more. And this is too much.

Guess that's the V8 Vantage, right?

She's wearing a bit too much makeup, but I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating nachos. [IMG]

I believe it's a DB9, because the V8 has a side crease in the door emerging from the middle of the gill/vent thing. But they are pretty hard to tell apart in pictures.

I believe it to be neither, this is a brand new model in the DBS heritage.

“This car encapsulates a link between our elegant DB9 road car and the powerful DBR9 race car. It signals an evolutionary development of Aston Martin’s world renowned style and elegance. While hinting at our future design direction, the DBS also has very clear links with our heritage – it is instantly recognisable as an Aston Martin.”

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ulrich Bez added: “The DBS continues our proud and lengthy association with James Bond. “The DBS is not of the understated elegance of a DB9, nor the youthful agility of the V8 Vantage. It is explosive power in a black tie and has its own unique character which will equal that of James Bond.”

Looks like the bastard child of a Ferrarri and a Mercedes.

I agree that the rims are too much.

Love it. Only thing that throws me off a bit is the vent in the front side bumpers. Reminds me of something I'd see on some crazy honda civic body kit.

    the wheels ruin it.

    The front fascia ruins it.

    The side skirts ruin it.

    The wheels ruin it.

Bond's cars traditionally are not flashy. They look stock in every way. I love Aston, but don't get what they're trying to do here. Bond is a spy, not a racer.

The reason for the car is to set you up for the next movie, which is going to be called: 007: Tokyo Drift. [IMG] Jon.
