Does anyone have any information on this brand of italian shoes? I have seen them on many japanese shoe sites and they seem to be very attractively styled. What are the prices and quality like and does anyone know where to buy them? Thanks.

The Lobb's on that site range from $272 - $306!(?) Either I'm missing something (like Lobb produces an inferior quality shoe for the Japanese market) or I can pay for a round-trip ticket to Japan to pick up some Lobb's with the savings! Anyone living in Japan know about these and care to comment please?

Is it just me, or do these Italian makers all have practically the same names? Brioni, Baroni, Borrelli, Bollini, etc, etc. Say that ten times fast...

Those aren't Lobb Paris, let alone Lobb LTD shoes.
Letter ' L' is absent in Japanese.

see the 'What's Ital Style' link at the top of the page. Very tacky. "Trenta Otto"?
What's the point of the typewriter? Is it even Italian, LK?
I wonder what the copy says.

Lobb's (note the apostrophe s) is an Italian brand for the Japanese market.

Has nothing to do with John Lobb (either Paris or London). They must have gotten the name registered when JL was having a nap or probably did not consider the Japanese market as important.
