I have a few Hilfiger "Custom Fit" polos. I suppose it's their version of a fit between regular and slim. Other brands might also have this particular fit issue though. I have a RL brand polo that's the same. Body wise, they fit me very well, slim fitting on the sides but not too tight, any more fit and they would be too tight. My issue lies with the body length. I feel they are slightly too long, but if I am wearing one untucked and raise my arms above my head, the bottom of the shirt rises to the top of my beltline. Right now, they fall slightly below the halfway point on the zipper line. If I tailored the shirt to create a shorter body length, it would be above my beltline if I raised my arms. What's the thought on this? Should the length of the body be measured so it sits even with your beltline with your arms are raised above your head or should it fall midway between the top of the pants and the bottom of the zipper line? Thanks in advance.
