I just picked up The Best of Bob Dylan today at the spur of the moment and listened to it on the way home fromw ork. It is all his hits and cover songs. For some reason, Ilike his lyrics, voice and how he delivers them. I guess I am a new of his. What other albums of his should I check out? Thanks for the help!

From a guy who prefers the rockier side of Dylan:

1) Highway 61 Revisisted
2) Blonde on Blonde
2.5) Live 1966
3) Bringing It All Back Home Again
4) Another Side of Bob Dylan
5) John Wesley Harding
6) Blood on the Tracks
7) Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
8) Desire
9) Nashville Skyline
10) Time Out of Mind

Buncha other stuff that's OK... but the ones above are worth checking out first.

I'll suggest an obscure one, Planet Waves. Totally badass.

And every one of them words rang true
And glowed like burnin' coal
Pourin' off of every page
Like it was written in my soul from me to you,
Tangled up in blue.

Dylan's early stuff is really good. Let us know what songs you like as that will help to make suggestions.

My two picks for you would be:

Blonde on Blonde

You say you love me
And you're thinkin' of me,
But you know you could be wrong.

You can listen to a fairly long snippet of each song here:

Blood on the tracks

Lily, Rosemary and the jack of hearts is one of my favorite songs ever.

Just won Blood on the Tracks on Ebay, can't wait for it to come! I've also really been diggin' Modern Times lately too. I'm a pretty big Rolling Thunder Revue fan, and would highly recommend the Bootleg Series Volume #5, as well as Desire.
