1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Yuck - I wouldn't.

Not that I usually mind new concepts, but I do think there's something to be said for respecting the original intent of an item.

A boat shoe in suede just seems like an oxymoron. You couldn't actually get it wet, so what's the point?

And in orange suede? That just makes it ugly.

I think boat shoes serve a purpose. Those shoes pictured don't serve that purpose. Plus the construction looks poor.

Varvatos. It looks much better in dark brown- see Onion's pic in S&D.

Personally, suede or not, I'd get them wet- the whole Varvatos shoe look is disheveled decay.

I wouldn't wear these. If I wanted boat shoes I would buy some. These aren't boat shoes. I'm not sure what to call them?

I saw a guy at the mall wearing those last December. I think his name was Klaus or Kloss or something like that. Very nattily dressed, but needed to lose weight.
