1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Margaret is such a waste of time and energy. Episode was really a drag, outside of the Chicago stuff, the Lansky/Luciano/Masseria/Rothstein stuff, and the crate scene (Richard attacking the guy was good, too). By the looks of next weeks preview, it looks like it's going to pick up (usually does with the last 2-3 episodes).

I have switched my choice as most hated tv character. Dana in Homeland takes the cake.

Makes sense. She can't let Nucky find out she's preggo so it's leave or abort.
Interesting that they didn't show how Owen got whacked. I'm thinking the cop who accompanied him to NYC turned on him and Nucky.

^ maybe. Lucky also told Joe Nucky was making a move. He said something to him that we couldn't hear.

He wants to bang her, you didnt see that? I think you're right about the abortion. Unless she give Nucky a plug and calls the kid his. But he knows about her and Owen. He's gonna know its Owen's kid. That actually has some legs.

I thought his name was Chip. How on earth did they come up with that name?

His character is a bit too aggressive. Nobody is that hard edged.

I don't believe Lucky was in on Nucky's exact plan (whack him in bath house), but only from Nucky's speech requesting assistance. Masseria may've just upped his security. Who knows though, interesting they left that open. Maybe we'll find out.

By the way. If you just had a bomb blow up a few days ago, are you really going to open a crate at 3 am in your living room?

Gyp is the main villain. Short for "Giuseppe". Joe Masseria is his boss, and was a real guy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Masseria That's who Owen and the other guy were there to kill.

I feel like the next few seasons would be great if they went more into the chicago side of things then it already does...but we have to remember its called boardwalk for a reason...kind of sucks because from a history stand point doesnt the boardwalk seem less interesting then nyc or chicago as time progresses?

well part of the reason for the setting was that NY and Chicago had been done to death, and Atlantic City would be a different setting. Another big part of the story was that the real Nucky Johnson was a genuinely colorful character. Unfortunately, the fictional Nucky Thompson somehow ended up being dull as dirt, despite being played by a talented character actor, and most of the interesting characters are real people who were based in New York or Chicago.

Yep. Atlantic City. NY, LA, CHI have been absolutely played to death in tv series and movies. Lets see some different cities.

Dont see that. Nucky is a pretty interesting character. Wish he'd leave the fucking showgirls. Boring. Like another pornstar on the Howard Stern show... lets see whats on MSNBC when one of those idiots starts to talk about their sex lives again. Snore.

yea i like the change in pace with nucky this season...i want him to take some of that anger out and hes already showed he has the gaul to make some moves and do his own dirty work now.

but because he is based on a real character who lives into the 1950s idk if he will actually go through with what i want him to do as a viewer...so im some what torn as i want the story line to be accurate but i have my own ambitions for nucky
