    That's his down ass bitch.

Meh...I suppose. I was kind of hoping Chalky was going to do it himself. I can appreciate the power it shows to have other people do it for you without really saying a word but would have liked to see Chalky get his hands dirty. Especially after the comments the guy was making about his wife.

Nucky has stepped on a lot of people to get where he is. The Commodore was the first Nucky for Atlantic City and Nucky does not seem to pay him the respect the Commodore feels he deserves. Sure Nucky still pays him a few bucks every now and then but that is not what the Commodore is looking for. For him power > money. Now that his health is good again he is going after what he believes is his.

    WTF are you talking about?

Overall it was an ok episode. I am starting to get the feeling that they might be trying to do too much with the story for one season. I did not mind not seeing Nelson in the entire episode one bit. I really cannot stand his character. I would prefer Eliott Ness from the Untouchables to Nelson any day. I like that Meyer and Lucky are starting to branch out on their own. I think when those guys rise to power is at the height of organized crime in their generation. It is going to be interesting to see how they manage all the different story lines.

Did anyone see the previews after the show? It looks like Jimmy and Richard are going to go toe to toe at some point. Looked like Jimmy gives him a head butt.

Speaking of Jimmy that last scene was pretty bad ass.

Not only that but Nucky was supposed to relinquish power after the commodore got out of jail which he failed to do.

You should pay more attention. Dominic Chianese "Uncle Junior" from the Sopranos is doing a several episodes of Season 2. He apparently was in a brief scene with all the old farts, the Commodore and Eli.

How many episodes til we see butt nekkid commodore crushing Jimmy's mom?

As long as he doesn't try to sing, it'll be ok.

No, that was clearly the maids doing. The reason he paid her off and told her to go far away was actually a brilliant move that the Commodore didn't understand: it was easier to have her (i.e. the problem) go away than to have her be arrested, and have a public trial, where she could spill her guts regarding everything she saw / heard. In terms of big picture thinking, so far it's Nucky > Commodore.

I don't know about this, she's a black woman in the 1920's, I don't know how much whatever she said would be listened too after "I tried to poison the Commodore".

That was truly badass. I loved when after killing them he readjusts his hair and cleans up. Haha CLASSIC!!!

Never been a fan of the trench-knife style of cutlery (the kind of knife with knuckle dusters attached) but seeing him work his magic with it was magical.

Trench knives suck. The handle's brass so if it gets wet and dirty it's hard to grip and having to fit your fingers through the holes in order to achieve a secure grip/disarm complicates a lot of things as well.
