I bought some J Crew board shorts with 29" waist. It's the smallest they have and they are JUST barely too big when tying them as tight as possible. I'm afraid that when wet they will ride down a bit.
I have two options...
1.. I could take them to a tailor and get the waist taken in... has anyone ever done this? Just curious if you guys think it'd be fairly inexpensive (i.e. $10) and not noticeable. Or if I should just...
2. Return them and get the 6" trunks. But I'm not sure I want to go any higher than the 7" hem on these board shorts. However, at least with the elastic waist I can get them to be tighter and not ride too far down my hips.
What do you guys think?
