I purchased this suit several years ago from the Savile Row branch of Ede & Ravenscroft. I had it made to a standard 38' cut (as I am a standard size and this worked out slightly cheaper than having it made to measure) and in a material of my choice. I purchased several suits at the same time and plumped for a couple in a fairly bold chalkstripe, thinking that I'd wear them at some point, but, as it's transpired, I haven't, as they aren't my cup of tea. The material is reasonably heavy, so ideally suited to colder weather.

The suit has never been worn and stored in the its original Ede suit carrier.

The jacket has working cuffs. There are no belt loops, as I dislike belts, but the straps pictured can be used to draw the waist in a couple of inches. The material is a very-nice quality wool, although I cannot recall from which manufacturer. (I'm a fan of Holland and Sherry, but I do not believe that it would be from this factory as the suit was only £600.)

The trousers have a flat front and the material is a very-nice quality wool, although I cannot recall from which manufacturer. (I'm a fan of Holland and Sherry, but I do not believe that it would be from this factory as the suit was only £600.) There're braces buttons and no belt loops with adjusting straps instead allowing probably two inches of adjustment, but the straps work very well. I was reluctant to try them, but they're excellent and far, far superior to belts.

The measurements are as follows, however, please remember that I'm ham-fisted at measuring generally.

Jacket

* Chest width (Armpit to armpit) -- It *appears* to be 40", although the suit is definitely cut to a 38" block. It's likely a 39" and it's my rubbish measuring.

* Length including collar (from the back side) -- 31.5".

* There is material to let out in the sleeve of about 1.5", although there's likely a bit more inside the sleeve lining, if need be.

* Shoulder to shoulder is 18.5", but, again, don't quote me on that.

Trosuers

* Waist width -- 31"

* Thigh width (just below the trouser crouch) -- 13"

* Width at bottom of trouser leg -- 8"

* Inseam length -- 31" with about 2.2" of material that could be let out

I can't recall how much I originally paid for this suit, but it was substantial. I think it was about £600.

The quality of Ede and Ravenscroft attire is superb.

Should you have any questions about it, please, do not hesitate to contact me.
