Up for sale is an incredible brand new without tags tie from E.G. Cappelli Napoli. Comes in the original plastic sleeve
Cappelli needs little introduction here. One of the best tie makers in the world.
This tie is about as grail at it gets. Navy with red stripe regimental silk. 3 fold. Same tie as the one here: http://www.patriziocappelli.it/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_30&products_id=1093
Great width on this one. 3.35 is my favorite width. Not too slim, not too wide.
You could buy that same exact tie for about $125 USD shipped (equivalent of 115 euros at today's exchange rate). See picture below for pricing proof. And on top of that you'd be facing about $20 USD in import taxes because Cappelli refuses to ship via USPS First Class Mail, which is lax on customs inspections. Instead, he only ships via UPS, which is notoriously Fascist for administering customs fees. So all said and done, you could buy this same tie direct from Cappelli for about $145
MY PRICE: $115 shipped CONUS, firm. This an excellent deal for a never worn tie in mint condition. Same as the day I bought it a few months ago. Been sitting on my tie rack unworn.
Selling this tie because I have enough blue ties. My loss is your gain!
Sale is final. Add $7 for shipping to other countries.
The price you'd pay on the Cappelli site is about $125. Then you'd be assessed $20 by UPS in customs fees, for a total of about $145. My tie is being offered for $115 flat, saving you$30 $35 on a brand new mint condition tie.
