Excellent advice. The E36 M3 is a great car.

I'd get the white one the mileage difference is pretty large and just buy an aftermarket navigation system. You can get a really nice system with all the nice features for like $250-300 which will probably have more up to date maps than what the older car system has.

I'm not a fan of white cars at all. BMW's are more classic in gloss black or charcoal. They do a nice silver now.

+1 Does it have to be a sedan? Plus the coupes look better (as you probably already know) I have a Z4 roadster and a Z4 M Coupe, both in Alpine White. The wife recently got a 530i and chose the lighter of the two grays. More "professional" vehicle color.

White is the classic racing color for BMW, and BMW's Alpine White looks very good, and ages very gracefully.

Didn't BMW also use silver like the other German teams? Pictures aren't loading up, but I'm generally against white cars, unless it's an older sports car with some patina.

BMW's always been white. Audi and M-B use silver.

Is the second car charcoal or Arctic Metallic as the caption says? The arctic color is a bit floral in appearance and looks like something grandma would like. It is a blue/gray with tan undertones. White is the best option of these two cars.

If you have the original warranty, it goes to 50k so the lower mileage makes sense. You want to run out of time on the warranty rather than miles. If you can find a car that is certified, you get 2 more years and another 50k miles of warranty. My 3 series was certified and the transmission went out at 98k. Had a new one put in, my cost was $50.00. FYI, the BMW warranty starts at the in service date on the car, not the sales date. If you go to BMW CPO ( certified pre owned) there are between 3 and 4 thousand 3 series for sale at present.

Hityler, I think the voters here are just as torn as you are seeing as how it's now 50/50 for white and charcoal.

Didn't they just announce a recall of that car?
