BMW 535i, Audi A7 or Jaguar XF?

My dad's in the market for a new car and he's narrowed it down to those three. Which one do you guys prefer?

1. If your father cannot choose his own vehicle, then it is safe to assume not to look up to him.

2. This question sounds like a teenage kid trying to convince dad what car to get because said kid would like to be seen in it by friends/girls/etc.

I agree that the Jags are a big step down at this point - I think they're trying to come back but I wouldn't want one.

You probably can't go wrong with either of the other two. I'm partial to Bimmers but Audi is cranking out some great cars right now. I haven't driven the Audi or anything terrifically comparable myself but I can tell you that I have driven an old 540i (E39 gen, my Dad's car ZOMG!!!) even recently, after owning an E36 M3, and I continue to be astounded by how that car gets up and goes and handles. If the current 535i, which has more horses than that one, drives anything like that old 540i I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I really like the new XJ, but that might be a waning phase for me. Aren't the cars listed as choices well into the $60K's with options nowadays?

The A7 looks good, has great tech if you get the Innovation Package (i.e., LED headlamps, night vision, head up display, etc.), and is a bargain compared to its peers. I didn't like it until I saw it IRL. Beautiful car.
