Blue socks - one of life's mysteries

The most ubiquitous and common pants worn by men, like it or not, are blue denim jeans. It would follow then that the most common colour of men's socks would be some shade of blue. Wrong. Check out any display of men's socks and blue will be a diminutive colour. With rare exception it has been my experience that if a package of say three socks are displayed, they are almost never all blue. Commonly displayed are blue/black/grey. I prefer mainly blue socks yet have the hardest time buying them without the unwanted other colours. I am in the east of Canada in Nova Scotia. Has anyone else noticed this elsewhere?

I hate to tell you Buddyboi, but blue socks are indications of having inclinations to homosexuality. Thats why they're so hard to find here in Soviet Canuckistan. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay.
