i've been wanting to get a blue sharkskin belt for awhile
and spoke to a few makers
i chose to work with bertrand montillet
a former hermes craftsman.
because i like the fineness of his handstitching
and also that he uses leather interlining
instead of fibreglass like many others.
he kindly provided photos
as work progressed on my belt:
i am quite happy with the result
the workmanship is superb;
handstitching, finishing, edging
and details are all top rate
the rest of the photos can be found
in this part of his site
