So I've had this pair of H&M sliq raw jeans for about 2 months now. They've been hot-soaked, cold-soaked, and machine washed and dried a couple times.

They're fading nicely [a series of fairly spectacular and painful skateboard mishaps has created some very interesting fades; I now have a razr v3-sized fade (with matching bruise!) on not one but both of my hips], but they're still turning my hands/legs/shoes blue.

I don't mean a slight blue tinge. I'm talking about full-on sickly looking corpse hands, blue-tinged legs, and very very blue shoelaces.

I assumed this would be pretty much over after the first machine wash. Not so. Any estimates on when they'll stop transferring color?

Try some vinegar in a soak or a wash, it helps to set the indigo.

True enough on vinegar:
With studies on the effect of enzymes on indigo molecules, one would deduct that the most efficient way to stop indigo loss would be to stop sweating, as there are enzymes secreted in sweat...as indigo compounds have a strong ionic affinity to enzymes (hence the enzyme wash that companies use to "age" denim).

Max, the H&M sliqs bleed like motherfuckers. They're some of the bloodiest jeans I've ever seen. Gonna take 4-5 washings for that to settle off.
