I have the navy EG Chelseas from KG. My shoe shine guy chuckles at them. I don't think anyone else has ever noticed. I do polish them with black.

I'm waiting on a pair of bespoke double monks in black (vamp) and navy (quarters and straps), contrast stitched in the respective colors.

All 3 of these are frustratingly beautiful shoes. The blue is regal - it seems so fine, I'd almost be afraid to wear it. But - it's also the closest to the color I am thinking of (at least as it seems in the image)

It is quite an English thing to dislike navy as shoe colour ...
They tend to wear balck with everything and I mean everything...
Most English person don't get burgundy either...
Now in London ,with the continental influences such as JM WESTON ,Berluti and many others , it is becoming more common to see navy shoes...

As do I.

Also have a pair of purple wholecuts - not sure what had gotten into me when I ordered those (a lot of wine if I recall correctly), but they are fantastic fun

I recall seeing a pair of Lobb's in Museum Plum, a nice version of purple. They were surprisingly stunning.
