Didn't get any joy with the other post so I'm trying again with more accurate photos with natural light. This time, the blue in the jacket is visible, and more true to life.

My question is, does black work with the jacket? My gut says yes, but I've been wrong before, considering my difficulty with tones (I have a mild form of colourblindness).

Also, is jacket fit OK? I'm thinking the arms are a bit long, but anything else? For those who may be curious, it is made by Coppley, half-canvassed.

The fit looks good. The sleeves need a little shortening so you are showing some cuff

As for black, I think it works for a night outing. But I would pair it with wool trousers or a very high quality cotton that has a better drape.

Thanks, what about grey trousers, would that be too close to the colour of the jacket?
