Bloomingdales or SFA gift card and what to buy?

i have some AMEX points to use. given the limited choices of rewards, i have narrowed it down to either a $300 Bloomingdales or $300 Saks Fifth Avenue gift card. just trying to get a feeler. which gift card would you pick and what would you buy for $300?

The highest money seller for gift cards is consistently Target or Amazon. You can sell a $300 card and receive $290 cash for it. Wouldn't you rather have $290 cash instead of $300 Saks store credit?

i'll definitely take cash instead of gift cards. i've been checking both sites and there's really nothing i must have at the moment. there are more things to look forward to on gilt sales, to be honest.
