Blog sites

Hey all, I'm looking to refine my blog and improve on readership, but blogspot just isn't doing it for me. All the things I want to change or add to my blog don't seem possible with blogspot, can anyone recommend better blogs? I'd love to see any examples you know of as well. Check out my link below, it just seems a little bit flat, I want it to be about the content but it does need a bit of zing....
