1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'm pretty disappointed that the the blog hasn't been updated.

With comparisons of ivory to child porn, it is. I love the internet.

Outrageous. I am now going to have to bring in whole divisive issue of race into this ivory question:

For some of you, an NSFW link to a giant pic of a brunette in tweed lingerie, specifically, a Shepherd's check. For the rest of you, it will be completely safe because (a) the jumblies are covered and (b) you are reading StyleForvm from a poorly monitored state prison. - B
My goodness man! Here's a sexful tweed dress: [IMG]

Why do you have a blog?
I hear you Dopey ... I frequently ask this question of my friends who have blogs ... especially those who repeatedly ask me to read them.

I usually tell them ... "My life is full enough as it is ... I just don't have enough free time to read about yours. If there is something you want me to know ... tell me."

And then I go and spend my free time on Style Forum.

    Thanks for that.

Given the tenor of the first post, is this going to be a more lifestyle/accessories blog than a clothing one? Just curious.

    Accessory necessity:

Given the tenor of the comments thus far, perhaps you can do your next blog posts on tortoiseshell, phoque or antelope accessories...

Thanks for helping wipe out the elephants... http://news.mongabay.com/2009/1019-hance_elephant.html
You could try reading the post: "the family’s once vast stockpile of pre-1978 elephant ivory has been depleted for years" It is the illegal hunting which is threatening to wipe them out, do you really think a shop such as this would get away with selling illegal ivory?

It's because you don't have a blog of your own....get with the program, please.

    Wait, you smell that?
Will you continue to host messages attacking your character, taste, mental health, ethnic background, political beliefs, and motivations on the new Wordpress site, like on the old blog, or will you keep that material here, on AAAC, and on FNB.edu?

    Hard choice, I know.

Nice new blog, I was wondering what you were up to. BTW, I don't know why but Ivory makes me squeamish.

Holy f*ck. I just looked at the blog for the first time today. What's with all the impassioned anti-ivory comments?

Can't I just have a normal blog like everyone else?
